Apple Fruit Crumble
A paleo friendly version of an ever popular pudding
Apple Fruit Crumble
Ingredients
- 6 dried figs
- 1 mug cloudy apple juice
- 4 assorted apples, peeled and cored
- 1 pinch dried ginger & cinnamon
- 250g ground almonds
- 1 tbsp dessicated coconut
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
Method
Soak figs in apple juice for 4-5 hours.
Stew apples until soft with ginger & cinnamon, little or no liquid needs adding.
Put apples and figs into ovenproof dish.
Cover with ground almonds, coconut and seeds.
Bake for 15-20 mins @ 180 degrees/Gas Mark 5.
